Does Biosyn store our biometrics or sensitive data?
No raw biometric data is permanently stored on Biosyn servers. Biometric templates reside securely on the ZKTeco devices themselves and within your custom backend application.
Encrypted mathematical signatures pass transiently through our Gateway solely for synchronization and webhook dispatch. All transmission uses TLS 1.3 encryption.
Which biometric device brands are supported?
Biosyn natively supports all ZKTeco hardware configured with the PUSH SDK (ADMS / iClock protocol).
Support for eSSL, Biomax, and Hikvision hardware connectors is currently in active development and coming soon.
Do I need a static IP address or port forwarding?
No public static IP or firewall opening is required. ZKTeco devices initiate outbound HTTPS requests over standard Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or 4G SIM connections directly to the Biosyn Gateway endpoint.
How long does integration take and how fast are webhooks?
